I just saw this ep! I love that huge guy going all goo-goo with Gus, especially Brian's reaction. After the whole Netflix thing, I had to pull out my DVDs and watch the show with real music. :)
I still laugh every time I watch! Brian just gives him the incredulous look he does so well. Priceless! :)

The range of expressions Gale came up with for Brian always amaze me. Some other actors must envy him that.
I'm familiar with your forum, hon. I read it off and on, when I have time. I'm not, however, busy with family, although mine is precious to me. Fortunately, as a grandmother, I don't have to worry about the care and feeding of my three grandkids! My time is mostly spent writing, editing, and doing research. I have to discipline myself, so I stay on task. :D
Gale is amazing! I listened to Ryan Scott Greene's interview on On Air w/Douglas and he mentioned having to study Gale's expressions to play Brandon. He said Gale could convey more feeling with just a look, than a script.
I've seen you mention grandkids before and I thought you were raising/or helping raise them (My mom is raising my sisters kids). I guess not all families are as dysfunctional as mine. LOL.
During the radio interview Gale did with Sheena Metal a few years back when he was doing Orpheus Descending with Denise Crosby, Sheena talked about how he could convey so much feeling with his eyes. It reminded me of the end of 1.02, after a heartbroken Justin drives off. I've always contended that anyone who thought Brian Kinney was a heartless shit wasn't really paying attention. :)
We have a multi-generational house, which my daughter and SIL bought with the intention of us all living together. Given all my health issues, I'm sure they've added years to my life, since I have my grandkids around and I don't have to worry about issues like rent or food.It works for us, but, no, I don't think there's any family anywhere who isn't dysfunctional in at least some respects! :D
