kellankyle1Two days ago, Mom and I had another conversation about S1. She was not quite finished, but she said she was starting 113. I asked her how she felt about certain scenes, one being Ted's O.D. She didn't remember. So, then I asked her questions about Brian, specifically in E4, when Brian was notified that he had PoA over Ted's life and Melanie was such a bitch, and his trip to the back room. SHE FELL ASLEEP WHILE WATCHING THOSE EPISODES…which means, she missed Brian and Justin is Mikey's room. I don't know what song it is on Netflix, but I know it as "Straight to Number One". I was like "Mom…WTF? Those episodes are crucial to the storyline. How are you going to know what Brian goes through if you don't watch those?" She said that she would watch them again. *rolls eyes*
Then, she called me yesterday and I heard the TV playing LOUDLY in the background. She said, "Guess what I'm watching? Do you hear the music?" (of course I didn't know, because she is watching Netflix and the music is different, but I don't have the heart to tell her). She said, "I'm starting S2!" Yay Mom!
Now, I called her a little while ago and she is beginning 205, so I asked her what she thinks so far. She said, "Well…Ted had some major problems with drugs after he got fired for watching porn at work and the boys just did an intervention!" I informed her that it wasn't drugs that Ted was doing, he was addicted to porn and masturbating." She said…"Oh…he was locked in his house for days." Yep…he was.
So, I am just continuing to encourage her and she told me when she re-watches the series, she'll pay better attention. Okay mom…just don't watch after you've taken your nighttime meds. :)
EDIT: I forgot to mention…right before she hung up, she said "Yum, yum…eat 'em up." Umm…okay mom.
